Dr. Nilesh Bavishi, F.A.C.C., is an experienced cardiologist who is double board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Bavishi is committed to providing excellent patient care and has been in practice since 1995. In recognition of his outstanding credentials and contributions, he was given the honorable distinction of Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). Dr. Bavishi is also a member of the Harris County Medical Society (HCMS) and the Texas Medical Association (TMA). He is fluent in Spanish, Gujarati, and Hindi.

Dr. Bavishi graduated with honors from UTESA Medical School (1985). He trained in pediatrics for 1 year at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (1985 – 1986) after which he completed his residency in internal medicine at the Jersey Shore Medical Center (1986 – 1989). He subsequently completed his fellowship in cardiology at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center (1992 – 1995). Soon after the completion of his fellowship, he began his private practice in cardiology.

In addition to his commitment to provide excellent patient care, Dr. Bavishi recognizes the importance of research in advancing our knowledge and finding new treatment methods and has published a book chapter along with research articles in reputed medical and science journals. He has also given presentations at international cardiology meetings.
